Samsung is currently one of the best 4g-smartphone manufacturers. They develop latest 4g smartphones, which are best in the world. After the success of Samsung galaxy s8 smartphone, Samsung is planning something better and smarter than S8 (which was unveiled on 29th march, 2017) that is obviously Samsung Galaxy S9.
This 4g latest smartphone is expected to release in 2018. So here is a preview of the beast.
Design:
Samsung’s Galaxy S series is renowned for combining premium design, the latest features and unbeatable performance, and we expect to see this in latest 4g smartphones. It is expected that there will be two versions of the S9: a standard model with a 5.8-inch display, and a Plus model with a slightly larger 6.2-inch screen. 4G new mobile will feature the dual curved edge and infinity display. Display type of latest 4g smartphone is super amoled capacitive touchscreen 16M that is full HD and latest of all display screens. It is possible that despite keeping the same dimensions and resolution the display technology itself could be improved. Samsung is reportedly using screen tech codenamed ‘sunflower’ for Galaxy S9. In 2016 Samsung patented a glass coating technology that helps water to bounce off the screen, making it much easier to use in rain. This tech could be introduced in the Galaxy S9, which will itself most likely be waterproof.
Hardware & Software:
According to Aju Business Daily, Samsung is in talks with Qualcomm to help it build the snapdragon 845, which could be the chipset onboard 2018’s Galaxy S9, plus other flagships. The Samsung Galaxy S9 no doubt launches Android O, the name of which we don’t know as yet. It will also have Samsung’s TouchWiz software over the top, which has been hugely refined over the last couple of years.
Samsung Galaxy older models (S8 and S8+) both have 4GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, as well as microSD. It is expected that the ram of Samsung Galaxy S9 would be 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, with having card slot that supports up to 256 GB microSD card.
Ports and Connections:
Samsung introduced USB-C rather than Micro-USB for the Galaxy S8, though it didn’t follow the likes of Apple in removing the 3.55 mm headphone jack and relying on wireless or USB-C audio.
Fingerprint Scanner:
It is expected that unlike the previous models Samsung will add security system on the front of mobile. The Galaxy S9 could be the phone in which we finally see the fingerprint scanner built into the screen glass itself.
Camera:
The Samsung Galaxy S devices have offered excellent camera functionality since the Galaxy S6, improving year-on-year, so we’d expect the same from Samsung Galaxy S9, There are rumors which suggests that rear camera of this 4G phone will be 12 mega pixels, having mouth watering features. Some of them are; autofocus, LED flash, Geo tagging, Face detection, HDR, touch focus, panorama. And unlike other latest 4G smartphones its front camera will have 8-megapixel auto focus lens, which are very uncommon. Video will be 2160@60 fps, 1080p@120fps.
SIM Network:
- 2G Network Bands: GSM 850/900/1800/1900
- 3G Network Bands: HSDPA
- 4G Network Bands: LTE
Connectivity:
- GPRS: Yes
- EDGE: Yes
- WLAN: Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot
- Bluetooth: v4.2 A2DP, LE, aptX
- USB: v3.1, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector
- NFC: Yes
- GPS: Yes
Battery:
It is expected that battery of Samsung Galaxy S9 will be same as of Samsung Galaxy S8 i.e. 3000 mAh. Fast charging- both wired and wireless will likely feature, though we suspect Samsung will continue to use its own Adaptive Fast Charging tech rather than the Quick Charge built into Snapdragon processors.
Samsung Galaxy S9: Conclusion
For now, the Samsung Galaxy S9 is pretty much all guesswork. It will no doubt bring many improvements over the Galaxy S8 and S8+, as all succeeding flagships do, but there are several devices in a pipeline before its arrival. We’ll keep you updated with any rumors that appear regarding the Galaxy S9 Price in Pakistan.
